2) MassG.A.M.E Annual Convocation 2009

Our annual MassG.A.M.E convocation was a huge success. Although we had a thunderous down pour of rain on Friday 17th it did not dampen the spirits of those who were traveling at that time or those who were to travel the next day. Instead of being a deterrent it was “showers of blessing” and for this we are thankful. The day was highlighted by a dynamic message by Pastor Leon Beclkes. It was our largest crowd to date, many of whom were here for the very first time.
The morning session (Sabbath School) began with Pastor Dennis Mingo and team running a Crisis Clinic where people can go to be made whole again. Our hearts were set to worship by the melodious voices of the London family. Then pastor Beckles reminded us that Christ is the only hope for the Crisis.
The afternoon session consisted of reports from the Guyana Conference of SDA via video, Davis Memorial Hospital presented by Bertie Henry CEO of the hospital, who updated us on the status of the new water filtration system and thanked all present for their contribution to the success of this project, and a MassG.A.M.E report from our president Esther Small. The day was capped off with fun filled banquet in the honor of some Guyanese individuals who helped to smooth the way for several students at West Indies College. These former students took the time to honor these families for the contribution they made to their lives. We look forward to the next MassG.A.M.E convocation and all the other activities in between. Your continued support is great appreciated.
